As you go through your day, working with clients, crafting and perfecting your art, it can be easy to forget why you do what you do. Often times when we start out as creative professionals, we have unbridled energy. We don’t need a purpose, just give us a project, and we are good to go. But things change over time. Purpose becomes a central motivating factor. It helps us to be different from other creative professionals. It confuses and eludes us. But it’s there all along. In this episode of Getting Work To Work, I share a few stories about rediscovering why I do what I do and ask a very important question: “Do you remember why?”
